EMGs without a quick connect cable

Well, i'm missing 1 quick-connect cable for my pair of EMGs, the only HK dealer doesn't have them and i'm not going to bother shipping a wire from elsewhere.

So if I just use a normal wire and solder it to the EMG, should I solder it onto the 3 quick connect prongs?

Ah okay got it. Solder onto the prongs with (in ibznorange's words) "that thin ass gauge you can only strip with a lighter"

...glad it's helping someone, I just got the local tech to sort my stuff, but thats because there were several different issues to fix...

he seemed to think wiring it that way would be fine though
