I have a RG7421 and I think the wiring scheme is really well thought out. If you want the DiMarzios to do exactly the same thing in regards to the coils that are activated by the 5-way, you're going to have to translate the wiring color codes - they may be the same, since Ibanez sells so many DiMarzios for them. I have a couple of color code pages bookmarked:
Wiring Diagram
Guitarelectronics.com Inc. Color Codes

However, none of them have Ibanez listed, it might be worth your while to find out if it's the same as DiMarzio before you start connecting - it's a lot easier to do it right the first time, than have to re-solder and re-solder, hoping that something starts working right....

This page will get you to the original Ibanez coil selection scheme - dial in the year 2000 and RG7421. But again the color codes for the wires aren't specified as far as North/South & hot/ground:

IIRC, the 7621 pickups were made by Dimarzio, and have the same color codes. I used the 7621 diagram and everything sounds right. As for reversing the neck pickup - with the adjustable pole pieces toward the bridge, the coil split position sounds amazing, and there doesn't seem to be any hum, so that's how it's staying

And yes, the creme is very pretty (still trying to decide about knobs...)
