Essential books/materials
I was wondering if anyone had any 'must have' stuff relating to guitar. Not the playing side, but the general looking after, set-up and repair kinda thing (hence posting in this forum). I want to be a lot more self-sufficient when it comes to sorting my guitar out, rather than paying the local music shop guy to do it for me.
So far I've saved all of Rich Harris' stuff on Ibanez Rules - the set up and cleaning pic story/tutorials - and also I bought Electric Guitar Setups by Hideo Kamimoto as 7 Dying Trees recommended me it... any other books that are highly recommended? Also maintenance wise, I have the kit that came with my Prestige, and I've ordered the 'Jim Dunlop System 65 Guitar Maintenance Kit' which has one of all their cleaning products...I can clean my guitars properly for once! Anything else every dude with a guitar should have? I suppose I'd like to see what you guys have in your guitar tool-kit. Thanks. Lefty Musketeer ![]() |
