Question A Change Of Seasons effects?

Im not sure where to put this.

I was just listening to this song and thought I heard a wah pedal, what I was wondering is what all effects does JP use in this song, and would it be able to be copied by a multi-effect pedal or would I have to have single pedals?

I also don't have any pedals accept my metal zone MT-2

Where about in the song is it?
Single pedals are fine, very adjustable but expensive. You can accomplish as much with a good multi effect pedal too, like the boss GT8 but the cheaper ones are not so great.

Line6 PODxt live is cool for anything like that! I mean much cheaper than single pedals.... also much more digital LOL, not to mention that petrucci has hell of a rack and analog tube and whatnot effects. cheaper and closer to DT sound is line6 I guess

no, man I won't tell you use the search if I know something. ) I am more than happy to tell.
Yes, it has a preamp, you can plug it in your PC directly, or PA, or anything, just needs tweaking, everything is in the manual if you get it. It can be a soundcard too, for recording is a godsend but for live I cant get a decent tone (but I have the studio version not the LIVE! one). A friend has the live and he plays it live all the time he is satisfied tottaly. It can be updated via internet too

I think what you're on about is the auto-wah section. The 'du-na-n-n-na-d-d-da-na-n-na-naaa' bit. I don't know if it's done with auto wah or actual wah (just done to a rigourous rhythm). Either way, an auto-wah would do the trick on that bit. Part of the instrumental section befor the "oh come let us adore him" bit, right?

Other than that, you just need chorus for the clean parts as far as I remember.
