Thoughts on guage selection?

Ok so my new band is getting going and we have opted to go for Drop B as one of the main tunings we use and im going to set up my guitar and the other guys guitar in that tuning (both FR bridges)

i always find Drop B a total bitch to get a good set of strings for (a pre packaged set)

So im going to go and get hold of individual strings instead

I was thinking 11, 14, 18, 30, 42, 56

im pretty shit on that calculator thing so could somoene else either calculate the tension there for C#, G#, E, B, F# B and see if iv made a good estimation of what il need (do they match tension wise)

If you are feeling generous you could also calculate 10 13 17 30 42 52 which is a normal set of skinny top heavy bottoms so i can get a point of reference

What's the neck scale?

EDIT: I made these on 25.5" scale, they show tension in pounds. Used data of D'Addario strings, if I didn't screw up somewhere in copy-paste process it should be correct.

Personally I'd get a normal 10-52 set and swop the bottom string for a 56 for that tuning, but if you like a little more tension than that, what your suggesting should work nicely.

thanks folks il go for my first option i think.

a 58 would probably sit better tension wise as the low B but im sure we can live with 56's

You might want to try these strings.
