Wtf - arent you creating threads all over the place saying Im not liking the tone of my guitar and I dont play it anymore. SDs are weak in basswoods - might be why your not playing that awesome 7.

No, I like the tone of my 7. My Basswood + Maple neck is the one that's EMG'ed and weird.

I don't play my 7 because I never use the A.

So got my pickups a long time ago: blaze bridge and the air norton for the neck.... Both sound about 800% better than the stock pickups... I'm quite satisfied and would suggest them for anyone that may be looking through the fourms to find something to replace those garb ones with.

Also picked up a 5150 and a 2x12 with v-30's which may have helped my overall satisfaction of my sound... who knows tho!
