Neck without string question

HELLO everybody!
i have a little problem and maybe i'll have to take out the trem from my
rg1527 to do some serious cleaning work

so i was wondering if the neck would be suffering without strings
for a little while, and if there's something i can do to get away safely

have you ever left your floyd equipped guitar without string
for a long period of time?

opinions pleeeeaaaaaseeeeeeeeeeee

it shouldnt be a problem. 1527 necks are pretty freakin sturdy from what i can tell, you can flip around string gauges without any neck adjustments at all.
it will be totally fine dude, go make that shit pretty again

Don't worry about it. A lot of people ship RGs disassembled anyways.

Put it this way:

I left the strings off of my Charvel Model 4 for OVER TEN YEARS in the attic, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and it plays like a champ.

I stopped playing somewhere around '92 or '93, completely forgot about it, and then pulled it out and hooked it up in late 2004 and now it is killer.

It is a killer guitar now. Ultra low action, OFR, SD Distortion in the bridge... killer.
