Puma is on a distinguished road
Blaze Bridge vs. Blaze Neck in bridge position

I've tried Evo 7 on my guitar and i really don't like the result. Evo is just out of control, i can't play rythm clearly. Yes Evo is good for soloing and other stuff like screamings and harmonix, also then using tons of effects (but nothing like Korn do). However i'm looking pickup for rythm first of all.
So i decided to change pickup again, i wondering what would better work Blaze Bridge or Blaze Neck for bridge position?
The sound what i'm looking for is late Korn and Crossbreed.
My guitar have Alder body, so by the way it have enough middle, so Evo was mistake for me.

P.S. I read most of topics, but don't get answer, there is just not enough reviews of people who tried Blaze Neck in bridge position...

I think the PAF7 would be a better choice than the Blaze neck pickup. The PAF 7 is clear and articulate, but still has an open midrange while the Blaze is a little more sterile sounding.

I'm not saying the PAF7 is the best choice for you, necessarily, I'm just saying I think it's smarter than the Blaze neck pickup. The Blaze bridge is pretty hot, so it will have some of the same screaming harmonics and overdrive characteristics of the Evo. It doesn't sound like the Evo, I'm just saying it will have similar high gain, high energy dynamics as the Evo, where the Blaze neck and PAF7 will have a cleaner, more manageable sound and feel. So if you liked the way the Evo screamed while playing leads, and you liked how it was overdriving your amp, you can get the Blaze bridge and you won't be sacrificing that part of the sound. If you don't like that, and you prefer to focus entirely on rhythm, then the PAF7/Blaze neck are better choices.

I realize I probably haven't helped you decide, but at least you know how they compare to eachother a little better.
