I'm really tired of my stock pickup sound and I dont want actives or pickups that I would have to route my guitar.
What dimarzios would you put into an RG7620?? I was thinking about the Evolutions but a lot of people on here are liking the X2N'S. I play metal/hardcore mostly I need a clear cutting distortion sound. I play through a Dual Rectifier. right now the stock pups are muddy as hell and not as sharp as I like. |

The Blaze Bridge pickup has a very clear distorted sound, since it's so scooped in the mids.

Evo7/BlazeNeck for a metal sounding axe, BlazeCustom/AN7 for a more rock'n roll sounding axe.
I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

X2N7. I love mine in my RG7420.

Man that's a lot choices. Pickups are hard because its not like you can hear them in your axe before you buy em. You can spend mad money trying to get the right tone. I'm probably only going to change the bridge pickup. So it's either the Blaze, Evo, or X2N. gotta get some sound clips...
