White Vol/Tone Knobs

Does anyone know where I could get some white knobs that will fit onto the standard Ibanez pots?

The issue is that the standard Ibanez pots aren't knurled, so any knob that has knurling will not fit over it...

I was thinking it might be possible to drill a standard knob to fit with maybe a dab of glue to hold it on, has anyone tried this?

Ideally I'd like some in this style:

Four Split Shaft Acrylic Bell Guitar Knobs - White 4 - eBay Knobs, Jacks, Switches, Parts, Accessories, Guitar, Musical Instruments. (end time 22-Nov-07 15:16:23 AEDST)

Sure they weren't cream?

I can't find them in the Dimarzio hardware catalogue. They do have white strat style ones that say vol/tone on the top, but they have knurling.

I think DiMarzio discontinued the white ones. I forgot that until you mentioned it, guess that wasn't as helpful as I intended

you could do like i did, and upgraded to dimarzio knurled pots lol

I was thinking just a dab of a weak glue, not smothering it with superglue or anything, so they would still pull off with some force.

just get better pots, but just tio tell you i have my stock ibby pots on and changed teh knobs to strat style, and they were actually authentic fender parts made in america, go figure

i use the dimarzios. the custom audio taper on em is perfect. dunno, its nothing too different but its one of those fine details that makes a good guitar really awesome

What do you mean 'knurling'? If its a split shaft pot (which is what it almost definitely is) then most pots will fit on it, and there is a degree of a adjustability by spreading/squeezing the tines together. If its a solid shaft (A la many Fender designs) then a grub screw equipped know can work.

If they are that though, I'd just change them to split shaft designs.

....so they were ridiculously overpriced heaps of medium-quality shit when a MIJ CTS pot would a) be cheaper and b) do the job better and c)wouldn't charge you for the name 'Fender' on the packaging when I guarantee there is exactly the same product available at least half the price without the branding.
