Forthcoming BKP nailbombs

went round 7DyingTrees’ place last night to set up my RG7620 back in E for the leech woman dates, played the nailbomb on his (frankly orgasmic) ibanez 1077 baritone and simply couldn’t not make the order today.

spoke to tim this morning (he really is actually that nice) and made the order, they’ll apparently arrive early next week. james has also offered to surgically implant the coil tap option.

excited.

Damn, now everyone's getting Nailbombs! I don't feel special anymore.

Tim really is a nice guy, really helpful. Best customer service ever.

Jeez, that thing's getting around

I'd love to try some of those pickups, but with the exchange rates, i'd just be better off ordering lundgrens.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

Nah man, that guitar is staying put. I really like it and it sounds a shitload better with the BKP's. Thing sounds awesome now, and plays really well. I actually see myself getting rid of the 2027 before selling this one... I really didn't like the 7421xl much, but love this guitar. And now I have to make sure Hal doesn't steal it plus if i ever sold it and regretted it, I'll never find a black oen again, as, quite frankly, smurf sparkle blue is like watching morbidly obese women have lesbian sex...

Lundgrens, well, actually, the $ isn't doing that well vs the euro either...

If james ever needs to pay for surgery, or something, i have dibs ;p

I always thought the sparkle blue looked good, but i guess its all relative. I would've loved to hear that guitar with some REAL pickups in it.
James, Did you replace the neck pickups too?

Actually the BKPs come out to ~$80 cheaper than the Lundgrens for a pair... that's at the current exchange rate, and with a pair of Lundgrens costing $410 in the US from Conklin.

Congrats on the pups Hal
