If we get enough interested people, I will put in new orders for these custom pickup magnets in 7-string humbucker dimensions. These Alnico magnets have a warmer sound that lots of people here on ss.org prefer to the ceramic magnets in most all 7-string humbuckers. You can read about the previous Alnico 5 order here and the previous Alnico 8 order here. The A5 magnets would be $5.50 each (the new quote was lower) and the A8s $12 each, plus shipping (those links have shipping costs). But we'll need a minimum of 20 magnets for each order. I don't need payment now, but I would need it before I put in the order.

A2 is a common alloy; i bet the pice would be similar to A5. A4, i have no clue.

the problem is that lots of people would have to be willing to spring on more than decent amounts if we're going to make the minimum for A5 or A2. i would go in for some A2s, but we'd still need 16+ more. as it stands, we don't even have 10 A5 requests.

if you're interested in A2s at the same rough price as the A5s, post how many and i'll start a tally for them. if we get more than a few people interested, i'll get a price quote.
