Guys, I'm not confirming anything about the production dates, or delivery times, or anything like that. But I thought I should start a separate thread just to tell you to get your orders in NOW. Find a dealer who is willing to take your order and place the order with us. From what I've seen behind the scenes here, these will be high demand pickups, and it's going to be extremely possible for us to be "sold out" at times, as the big orders come in.

Now, here's what I'm saying without actually saying it: We can only make so many pickups per day. The more orders coming in for something like Blackout 7 string pickups means the more resources we can put onto building more pickups, and the more we'll build for inventory. In short, demand is what drives our production floor. If we get demand up, we get production quantities up.

Normally we can just look at other pickups and determine (by applying some scientific analysis) about how many we need to keep up with demand. These are brand new, and by doing a "passive sized" version we're the first and only on the market with a readily available production pickup that'll fit your passive guitars. So what do we compare it to? The Distortion 7? Blackout 6's? Who knows! In reality it becomes the only active pickup available for almost EVERY 7-string guitar built and sold from the year 1991 until now! The 707 size is a little easier to forecast, because on that one, we're capturing existing market share. But on the passive sized, we ARE the market share.

So get the orders in ASAP please!

ps. Some of you asked about Dino's 8-string, and yes that would be a Custom Shop order and I wouldn't know the cost.

Yep. A product code would be good. That and if anyone has a list of online dealers in the US that will ship abroad (Or will buy a set for me and ship them) as I really detest having to fork out the rip off prices in the UK

All the Blackouts so far are referred to as AHB-1n and AHB1b with AHB-1s referring to the set. So for the passive size you'd order:

Phase 1 AHB-1x

And for the 707 size you'd order:

Phase II AHB-1x

The internal part numbers are as follows:

11106-33-B-7str = Blackout 7 string Phase 1 Neck (AHB-1n)
11106-34-B-7str = Blackout 7 string Phase 1 Bridge (AHB-1b)
11106-35-B-7str = Blackout 7 string Phase 1 Set (AHB-1s)
