Unhappy Pickup suggestions for my rg7680 !!!

I'm considering changing the stock dimarzio's on my 7680 (basswood, 27" scale), especially the bridge PU.
Since i got my 707 loaded hellraiser i've been digging the sound of the 707's A LOT and started noticing that my 7680 was lacking something. I don't know exactly what PUs are in the 7680 since i couldn't found any information about them and the PUs just say "Dimarzio USA" and no specific model
Anyway, the dimarzio's on my 7680 have lower output than the duncan JB on my 6-string any a lot less than the 707. As for the tone, they sound somewhat dark and dull, and lack clarity. It's amazing how trebly and defined the JB sounds in comparison.

So far, i'm considering the X2N 7 , D-sonic 7, D-activator 7, and lundgren M7. I've never got to play any of these so i'm quite lost... I also don't trust the sound descriptions of dimarzio much after having owned a tonezone, paf pro and a set of evo's..
I like the sound of my 707 but i'm not willing to re-route my 7680, so what would you suggest out of these PUs?

i play mostly technichal metal with lots of single low-note palmmuting. Think meshuggah, fear factory, nevermore.

thanks dudes!

FS: Brand new set of EMG808's. Still unpacked!

I think you should let me buy your RG7680 for a lot of money so you can buy whatever you want with your earnings

I dunno. If I was going to take it... (which I just can't right now...until I get paid! )

Something of the order $1000-1400 would seem fair.

I love the exchange rate.

Heheh. I would too. And I'd take it off your hands for that too.

I don't have £900 though

The M7 would probably be a good choice. And because I'm in love with my Bare Knuckles, I'm going to suggest... Bare Knuckles! The Nailbomb is an awesome bridge pickup.

hm, bareknuckles are priced right between dimarzios and the M7 so that would also be an alternative...

has anybody in this forum used them in a basswood ibby 7? sound samples?

I've got a Nailbomb bridge/Cold Sweat neck in my 1527. I've only had them in there since sunday, so I'm still tweaking but I think I could record some clips soon.
