SD JB and Jazz

a pair of jazz is actually really really good, tdw said that, and i tried it in a 6er, and he was right. i like the 7jazz more than the 6jazz so it should be fine. the custom and the customcustom are preffered to the jb IMO for high output. i like the custom

wow.. if you like the 7 jazz more than the 6 jazz.. thats gonna be amazing.. I am OBSESSED with the 6 Jazz, I've had it in like my past five 6 strings, and just ordered another for my new one. I dont think I'll ever use anything else in the neck pickup.. Its just so smooth, I love it. Cant wait for my 7 string to come with the jazz 7 in it.

For a bridge pickup, im still not 100% sure what to get either, the JB is a great rounded pickup, but it doesnt nessisarily do anything amazing IMO, just everything good. I am looking at the Custom or Distortion, might be abit more chunky for a bridge pup

Oh, one negative I can think about the JB/Jazz.. They sound pretty junky in basswood.. Even my beloved Jazz sounds kinda blahh. basswood works best with dimarzio's IMO
