As far as the JB and Jazz, my brother had a pair (6ers) with his stock ibz single in a supermodified 350dx. They were rocking, the only thing we noticed was that the JB could get a little too.... spongy... if you were playing power chords, and he doesnt even play in drop d. But if you like high output pups, thats a solid set for sure Reverse Headstocks or Bust Dude...i just got a spam email that was titled "Funky date rape trick" -Zepp88 I just got another funny email "Her pussy smiled at me" -Zepp88 Don't tell me you haven't heard of Raptor Jesus It's important that you know this information :headnod: It will decide your fate when we are pwned. -JoeOvChaosI was going KAT KAT KAT KAT and you were going KAT... chk... KAT... chk-die. -TomAwesome | |

![]() | Yes - all those SD models are either 4-conductor, or are available as 4-conductor models, so you will be good to go! ![]() FWIW, I now have DiMarzio A.N. and D-Sonic in my 6-string and am considering moving to a SD Jazz neck and JB bridge...I loved the tone of the DiMarzios when I first got them, but I now find myself wanting more organic character. Ironically, I *had* SD's in the guitar originally, although they were the wrong ones compared to what I had ordered (Ed Roman Quicksilver custom order gone bad...long story...)... Smooths it out, and tightens that notoriously woolly bass. As an aside, the SD JB-7 in the neck KICKS ASS. It's almost the perfect neck pickup, as long as it's balanced with a high-output bridge pickup. |

The door swings both ways, we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

Try to wind the JB-7 to nearly the same standards as the regular JB, using the same materials, making basically a duplicate. Or - 2. Tryo to make a 7-string version of the JB-7 that SOUNDS as much like the regular 6-string. I'm pretty sure they go for the first, but the issues is size might play big role in the final tone. Maybe it's only small, but it does seem noticeable. |
