Help for truss rod adjustment (RGA121)

The truss rod in my RGA121 has an endpiece (whatever you call the part that you turn) that doesn't have an allen (sp?) wrench hole. It's just got a hex shape. But the cavity isn't big enough for me to fit any kind of regular hex wrench in there, so i have no way to get at it. Is there a simple way i can get it, or do i have to go buy one of those weird wrenches that's kinda like a cylinder on the end of a bar? And how comes they even make it that way in the first place??? The other way is so... intuitive?
Feedback appreciated!

Just a heads up, if you don't know what you're doing, its better to bring it to a tech.
