Fretless RG finished! with sound clips!!!

i don´t have a name for it yet, but this is my grungy-ass worn-n´-torn guitar, so it´s gunna be called something like "wreckage" :P

i modded the neck pup by removing one row of pole pieces, so only the row closest to the neck is left, and then i´ve put an alnico magnet and a ceramic magnet on top of each other, checking that they reject each other, and are facing the right way, and stuck them in there to replace the ceramic it used to have... it sounds nice, a nice mix between both worlds, obviously :P

i even sanded the headstock clean! :P and notice the brushed tuner knobs, lookin´nice...

the back of the headstock, before tuners were attached...

and now, soundclips!!! the clean clip was done with the "single-coil" neck humbucker with the alnico-ceramic mix, and the distorted clip was just straight bridge pup, all ceramic... i only have 5 strings on it that i found laying about, so it´s tuned to CGCGG (two G´s are the same note, so it´s like a drone-string kinda), and note the fretboard buzz (:P), i haven´t sorted that out yet, but i kinda like it...

i apologize for the clipping on the clips, that wasn´t supposed to be there...

it always worked before, but his time, the damned embed thingy didn´t fucking work... just showed up as a bunch of code instead of the actual player :P

Sounds cool. I liek the distorted clip - it would be a cool instrument but the constant glissandos would get old real quick if thats all you relied on.

Also - you don't intend to use roundwound strings do you?

If you're going to use a fretless, I'd STRONGLY suggest flatwound strings for it to increase the life of the fretboard a bit. D'Addario Chromes are a good example.

That distorted clip sounds pretty cool, u can really notice the difference, even more so than I was expecting...
