Microphonic pickup help

Does anyone have a problem with a weird after ring on your floyd type equipped guitar? I did. I thought it was a microphonic pickup which is a dimarzio new 7 bridge. If you do,before you swap it out,try putting some foam or sponge in the cavity with the springs. Just cut it up and lay on top of the springs. Now I don't use the tremelo so I have it blocked off with wood. If you do use the trem try replacing the springs before you buy a new pickup or try to wax/pot the pickup yourself. It totally fixed my problem!

This is a common problem and fix you mentioned, not shedding any light but thanks for the effort anyway.
