Bareknuckles Incoming :D
It took a long time to take the plunge, but now on it's way to me are:
One Nailbomb 7 bridge One Coldsweat 7 Neck One rewound single coil (stock ibanez dimarzio, now to be turned into bareknuckle custom rewound yay!)Should be cool, as I know there's been a lot of people wondering about getting single coil 7's. And I figure that just getting a 7string single rewound by Tim at Bareknuckle would be a good idea seeing as custom orders cost a lot, and the pickups cost a bit new as well. So for the price of 65£ Tim will rewind it for you. If it works out and I like it, then I am shipping of all the single coils in the UV's and the S to him to get the same treatment, as it'll, to be honest, always be an improvement really! The only bad thing was that I couldn't get the magnet swapped in the diimarzio, BUT, tim did tell me that since the humbuckers are alcino5 that the ceramic single should really work well in the split positions which has made me curious, as it's not like he doesn't know what he's talking about! And then finally the 1077xl can get some pickups that I think will really do it justice! |

I've got that combo in my Carvin and it works really well.
BKs are very sensitive to height so spend some time adjusting them when you get them. Mine "came alive" when I finally got them dialied in. the Cold Sweat 7 is a great neck pickup. it's fat but still glassy and split it sounds very cool. I need to find some time and post a couple of clips. ![]()
