![]() ![]() ![]() | P-90 for 7-string? I've always loved the sound of P-90's, more so than regular single-coil, but I can't find one made for a seven-string. Does anyone know of one? I've seen seven string P-90s from the Duncan Custom Shop. Now if you want the P-90 sound but the look isn't as important then you might want to contact DiMarzio about the Bluesbucker for seven string guitars. Dave Weiner has two of them in his LA Custom Shop Ibanez S. Also Jim Soloway has used them in a few of his guitars. The Bluesbuckers look like a standard humbucker but sound similar to a P-90. It's been suggested that DiMarzio might release this pickup as standard production model but don't hold your breath. The only proof he needed for the existance of God was music.
