![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You could always order the extra stuff from an EMG dealer, or they quite possibly have it in stock. Ebay's alway got shit like that floating around too. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Always best to have the quick-connect. You never know when then might make an 85/7 or a 60/7 or something you might like better. From top to bottom, it should be Ground, Hot, VCC. I think. Or maybe I have the whole thing upside-down... |

![]() | i'm an electronics tech, so having hard connections soldered in is pretty much quick-connect to me and besides, solder joints fail slightly less often than connectors :eyeroll: not really.checked for them floating around ebay already, and no dice. ah well, this project's pretty far off, anyways. if anyone has one of the quick connect kits to spare, since they come one to a pickup, and not one to a set, is there any chance i could buy one off you? just talked to the guy at guitard center and he said he doesn't sell those separately.i -REEALLY- don't want to go to radio shack. ever again. and i do mean ever. their components are cheap and indonesian. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Contact EMG directly and they should hook you up. I've ordered spare parts from them in the past without any problems. Although I should mention that this was several years ago (and for bass pickups). So I don't know if their policy has changed recently or not. ![]() | jesus god, just got it, made some quick cuts with an exacto knife, and :O this thing is fucking the guitar ain't, but. hey, you're not playing the guitar, you're playing the EMG after all. i'm sold. SOLD SOLD FUCKING SOLD. now. anyone know where to get a 25k pot?. i tried radio shack, but they claim they don't stock 25k large body audio pots anymore. so it's wired with no volume whatsoever. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() oh. and whoever said that EMGs will make you sound like a retarded 12 year old trying to play guitar at first was quite correct, i'm afraid. oh wait, i sounded that way before. |
