i've got a Tone Zone in the bridge in my 6 string. i think it sounds pretty close to the Blaze Custom, though it might be a bit hotter.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.

yeah, looking at Dimarzio's site they're pretty close. But the Drop sonic based PURELY on the eq graph is even closer, not sure in reality if it's close to the blaze custom or not, looks to be though based off the graph.

Fuck it, you only live once!

you'll also need to factor in the lack of the B string. the EQ response on DiMarzio's 7 string pickups are tweaked to keep the B string sounding great. so, going just by the EQ alone when looking for the 6 string version of a 7 string pickup may not be dead on.

in fact, i think i read something to this effect about the Air Norton and the Air Norton 7, in that even though it IS the equivelant, it is still different due to EQ tweaks to keep the B string clean.

Go to Thomann and ask them there. www.netzmarkt.de/thomann. Mail the guitar-department and ask if they could order one for you. I saw that they had the Air Norton 7 in black/white zebra-colour, so I thought they might carry it in all-white. I mailed, and I got a positive answer.

Are you sure that's not black and cream? The DiMarzio catalog states that the AN7 is only available in black, cream or black & cream zebra.

I'm pretty confident that that one's black/white. I mailed and asked specifically for "white, not cream". It was even confirmed on my order declaration - "DiMarzio Air Norton 7WH". And trust me, I'm equally surprised that it's available in white after all, but I'm not gonna ask questions! As long as it's an Air Norton 7 and it's white, I'm happy.
