A sneak-peek for those that helped me

Seeing as you guys gave me loads of tech advice, here's a sneak peek at the project so far (full picstory/article on my website when i'm finished which will be about this time tomorrow!)

From just sanded...

To this!

You may think it looks tacky, but i just couldn't be bothered with another paintjob, so i wrapped it in gaffa tape instead! at least this way it's easy to remove if i want a paintjob in the future, i'm never sanding ever ever ever ever again!! i got no skin left on my fingers cos my power sander blew up half way through!
anyway, i'll post a link for when it's finished

Looks good to me! Well, except that little gap by the neck joint, but it's not huge. On stage it'll just look like a matte black V

Grasshopper - you must sand with a power sander and not your fingers/hand.

Wow, that look like it was a TON of work!

I like the tone of that wood... what is it, mahogany? Alder?

yeah, gaff tape is usually smoother, and more of a matte black than yours looks to be.
