Making it HSH

Hey, so I already modded my strat and put a Humbucker in the bridge, but now I want to get a new bridge pickup and move the current bridge humbucker to the neck (its a neck pickup anyway)

Thing is, I think I would have to route the neck position to accept a humbucker:

By the looks of it, would I?

What type of guitar is that? The route for the neck pickup look a bit narrow for a neck humbucker. I could be wrong as that pic is a little tough to judge by, but I'd measure twice before I installed.

It's my Squier (which I've modded considerably).

I think it was made for HSS (used to be SSS) I had no problems getting a 'bucker in the bridge position.

If you have access to a router - just make the cavity a swimming pool. that way you can have a humbucker in the neck.

Strat pickups are mounted in the pickguard anyways right? So just do what Djpharoah said.

Or if you don't have a router get at it with a chisel, but be careful...

Just want to point out that stevie ray vaughn had a fender strat that had been routed for three humbuckers (the swimmingpool/channel thing) and said that it had the sweetest bell like tone he had ever heard.
