Not sure which version is stock on my RG1527, but I'm looking to buy a new tip for it, sounds simple enough. However, I've bought two from ebay so far that don't fit the switch at all, even though the auctions say "Will fit all import Ibanez, fender, etc".

So my dumb question is, what brand should I be buying that will fit snug like the stock tip? I'm just looking for a white one to complete my white-out on the pickups, knobs and tip.

the knobs for the US-made strat-type switches are bigger than the imports, so i would avoid anything that will fit US Fenders. you might try a Schaller Megaswitch tip, since that is a foreign size tip. i have one of those; i will try to remember to check if it fits the switch in my 7620 (which is the same Ibanez special 5-way as the 1527).
