That's just wrong, lol, the Evo7 is SUCH a hot pickup... I mean, I won't bash it until I try it, but man... lol. The Evo7 is almost too hot as a bridge pickup to match with most necks, I wouldn't think the BC could keep up.

I know...lol. It has like 10 mv more power in the first place and then putting it in the neck? Wow...that must be a mean gutar. However, i'd like to hear it...even a BC in the neck sounds like it'd be over kill since both are rated over 400mv

Hey, did you ever get around to that?

I can definitely get it, if it's a Blaze Bridge (not the New 7 or Blaze Custom).

Hahaha, I must admit I was kinda morbidly curious what that'd sound like. The BC is still pretty damned hot, but balanced right against the Evo could work, I'd think...

Nothing. You need to do a little routing to get a Dimarzio into the Carvin slot. And for what it's worth, you can't drop those Carvins into just anything, either. They won't go stock into an AX, for example, the tabs are too big.

With a Dremel you can get a Dimarzio into a 727 without too much hassle. I had my luthier do it for me so I didn't chip the finish on the face of the guitar. I think it cost me 40 bucks for the swap, woodwork, and rewiring to the Carvin's switches. Nothing will drop right into a 727 without work, though.

...diagonally parked in a parallel universe...
