BKP Warpig set/ Air Norton(neck) on its way!

I just recently ordered these for my dc 747 and this is mainly due to suggestions offered by you guys on the SSF, thanx. However, I'd like the opinion of someone who has a set of war pigs in the same guitar.What do you think is better, air norton neck w/wp. bridge or both wp's in my carvin which is mahogany with a quilted maple top? Cheers

Well, I've ordered the WP as well. I think what I'm going to do, rather than getting another BKP, is get a Dimarzio Air Norton. I don't see a reason to spend $170 for a pickup I use maybe 1% of the time.

I understand what you're saying and perhaps the tonal variety might allow for more choices with a different pup (An7) in the neck pos. however, the set BN set might also be calibrated to compliment each other and I wondered if anyone has tried this? Does the warpig require some routing of the cavity or filing of it's base to mount in a dc747? I understand that the AN7 almost fits with very little work. Thanks
