![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | EMG 81 7's? First off, if you had a set of EMG 707's, would you swap the bridge at least for an 81-7? Also, since it isn't even on the website, how does one get a hold of an 81-7? Oh also, where is everybody getting Seymour Duncan Blackout 7's? Which would you suggest? ![]() | GuitarPartsDepot.Com - One stop shopping for all your guitar / Bass spares & accessories. They Have 707, 81-7, 60-7, 808 As for Blackout7, they're supposed to email me when they get them in... Depending on your guitar... I have a Maple thru Magogany (Maple domines the tone, less bassy) and I really love the 707 in the bridge. But I also have a 707 in my RG7 basswood bolt-on wich I don't really like. I prefer the 81-7 through my amp, but the 707 sounds good through it as well. Through my bandmates Mesa, the 707 definitely sounds better. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | For an amp, I have a Carvin V3. It's shockingly similar in tone to a rectifier (well, it can be tweaked as such). The guitar in question is the Schecter Hellraiser 7, wondering if once I get it I should swap out for other EMG's, or even Blackout 7's. Other EMG's would definitely be easier though... since then I could just use that easyconnect deal. |

But I guess we'll see. Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known. ![]() |
