Any pickup would be better those stockies in the S7320. The Air Norton 7 is an awesome neck pickup. John Petrucci uses the AN7.

I just installed it in my RG7621 and man it sounds amazing. Also found that on my guitar, the height of the an7 gives it different subtle tone changes. Sounds good with distortion as well.

I recommend it as a good neck pickup.

I definately would not put two Air Nortons 7s in my guitar. AN7s are an AMAZING neck pickup and will be extremely smooth but you need to pick a different pickup for the bridge position.

That depends on your personal taste, the evolution 7 is a much hotter pickup than the PAF 7. And, quick question, forgive me on my S series ignorance but is your guitar Mahogany?

YES

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.

Air Norton 7s are the most percussive & soulful sounding pickups I've had in a guitar. They're top notch.

Heck I have AN's in most of my guitars, 6 or 7 string. For bluesy sounds, coil-tapped clean sounds, or rapid-fire alternate picking, there's nothing better IMO. The only close pickup would be the Duncan Jazz, which is a great choice in it's own right too.

If you adjust the height of it closer to the strings, you get more "bite", but if you adjust it lower/farther away from the strings you'll get more of the "squack".

Just find a medium that sounds best to your liking.

i've got Air Nortons in my RG570 and XV500, and the AN7 in my RG7621. the only reason why i put a Blaze Neck in my RG7620 was because i had three AN's already

i'm thinking, though, of putting an AN7 in my RG7620
