uhm i would never cut my guitar. that was a very stupid and unhelpful thing to say. i dont appreciate stereotyping because what you just said is not me. all i wanted to know is what would be a best choice not for some jackass to start stereotyping instead of focusing on helping.

Jeez kiddo chill the fuck out... He's just joking for christ sake...

If you want a killer tone Evo7 and Blaze Neck are great, but if you really want the crazy Death Metal/Black Metal tone it is you want, then the 81-7 is your best bet as many of the heavier bands use them to get that insane crunch... Yes it will require routing but it's nothing major at all....

So just take a chill pill and chill next time...

D-activators would work fine for Death/Black metal,they're absolutely killer I would personally wait for the regular-spaced Blackouts though, they're looking very tempting.

I agree with the majority. You should wait for the regular sized blackouts to be released. You need to make sure you try everything out before routing your guitar. The worst case scenario is that you find nothing you like and go for the EMG's. Believe me, if you don't like them, you don't want to be stuck with them.
