Real Name: Alexander Main Seven: Carvin DC727 all-mahagony Rig: Carvin Quad X-amp Thanked: 10 / 1
![]() | I'm getting a carvin dc747 from kovachian kovachian/Carvin - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting It's maple neck through mahagony wings with rosewood fingerboard. Guess pickups replacement would be necessary. But i can't imagine which ones i would like with this wood combination. Looking for a beefy, growling sound with low-end crunch for bridge, and a singing, warm, vintage-sounding for neck. My suggestions: brigde - JB, Blaze (B or N) neck - AN, PAF, `59 but, again, i'm not shre any of this would work in this guitar, that's why an asking. |
