I've seriously seen you bashing EMGs in 4 different threads already today!

Personally, I think the Blackouts look gay (but sound pretty good. I don't hear much of difference between them and EMGs in sound). And, since blackouts look gay, EMGs are automatically going to look better. Blackouts win in the "no-routing-needed" area. Blackouts lose in the appearance area. And I think it's a tie in the sound/tone area.

And whether EMGs are worth the heartache or not is a personal matter. For you, they aren't. For the original poster, they probably are.

D-Activators sound pretty awesome. They aren't actives, but they have a very similar sound to EMGs and are quite brutal.
