Hey all,

I want to start building guitars, we have the workshop and stuff ready just to do as a hobby and as something apart from work, so I've got plenty of questions for you.

Firstly, what tools do I generally need, as in the 'must haves' of the guitar building world?

I know I need a router, I dont know what to look for though, theres two on stewmac.com but I dont really know what Im looking for, and if these two would cut it routing deep cavities:

Dremel 400XPR Rotary Tool Outfit at Stewart-MacDonald

I dont know where to start or what to look for, so any advice would help loads. I suppose we'll be building plenty from scratch so keep that in mind, and possibly some extended range guitars, I'm just getting confused by trying to list all the tools though.

What I know we do have:

Piler Drill
Vice
Grinder
Chisels/Screwdrivers
Sander
Common power tools ( Drill etc )
Work Benches

Although we have chisels, I dont think they are the right ones for nifty guitar work.
