IIRC, an average rate for refret is 200+. And to have them route could easily be a hundred or more.
You've got your head down You've got your eyes closed You look so pitiful now Your body encrusted with ash Breath heavy with toxins Hair singed and matted Clothes frayed and burnt You are left with nothing |

Although, with me being in a small town in TN, and you being in New Orleans, you'd probably get a higher price in your area; I live close to a city with one of the lowest cost of livings in the entire country. Dan: just got word from him, I was pretty close, he said his rate is 220 and up. Last edited by OzzyC; 06-24-2007 at 12:12 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Here's a better question - why are you guys talking about refrets?
Very rarely do guitars reqiure a refret unless they are VERY old and have recieved a LOT of playtime. IF its that your frets are starting to get small grooves cut into the frets, a fret dress could easily be the (much cheaper) answer. If things are buzzing oddly, levelling out the frets would help solve the problem. Its only unless your frets are FUCKED or you want to replace them with a different fretwiire like Dunlop #6105 or SS frets that a re-fret is generally warranted. ![]() |
