Don't get me wrong, I like the way MM sounds, but not as much as WarPig.

...and as far as DiMarzio is concerned, I'm trying to avoid them, because they're not hand made, and therefore badly "wrapped" (I'm not certain what's the right word in English ) And I've also heard that they lack quality in materials used.

Nothing Wrong with it dude!I think Warpig sounds better in many ways.It's fuller ,punchier ,bigger.And i know why you like it more.
But when it comes to
a)Harmonics
b)Cutting edge ,and defined midds
c)Huge but well defined bottom ,
Nothing in BKP ,DMZ and any other PU (Well i hope my crazy 8 can do it) can come close to the MM.

Well ,i am not a Neck PU user ,so i have no idea..
I just know that MM neck is not popular on 7 string players.Tim recommended the VHII Neck..but that was for the MM .So i dunno wich PU can complete your sound possibilities with 'pig in the bridge!

I've just received e-mail form Tim:

"from your like and don't like list I would say you prefer a tone that has more mid range in it rather than a scooped out tone.
A popular 7 we make is the Nailbomb 7 which has a very organic clean tone and a very pure driven tone with great weight in the mids.
If extreme power is what you are after then the Warpig 7 is a lovely pickup-nice and powerful with a totally saturated tone which still manages to sound organic and raw."

he was the one who advised me to get the "miarcle man"..Since he was knowing what i am after.
The Nailbomb is like the DMZ blaze.Every wants it and plays it.Broderick loves it.I don't like it.It's too honky for my tastes ,and the dynamics are too open wide.So fast chugged stuff sounds not well defined.But again ,that's all personal taste ,and playing style.If you feel comfortable with a boomy sound ,or unfocused midds ,go with a Nailbomb.I prefer more focused sound.But hey ,i like ENGL sound ,and not 5150!
