Bareknuckles pickup choice help!

I've got a new monster that's coming in soon and the stock pups just won't cut it...

Now I'm really bored by DiMarzio and Seymour Duncan pups... I'm looking for something that's a bit ''bolder''.... Lundgren don't really interest me as I'm not all that fond of the "Djent" they're commonly associated with...

So on to the pups, I'm not very familiar with their products because they don't give any friggin description... in the Bridge I'm looking for something with some mondo bottom end and full of mids with cutting highs that's very warm sounding. In the neck, I'm looking for something very clean and full sounding pup that's doesn't have some retarded bass response *cough* SD 59' *cough*

Up the shut fuck, you must.

You really should register to their forum and ask the guys there. From what you say i'd say you want a Cold Sweat neck and Warpigs bridge. But i've neither of those so ask Tim, the owner, about that

Could you please elaborate on what is "mondo bottom end"? Is that a lot of bass or tight bass?

Congratulations on coming over to the true faith!

Bareknuckles rule. Quite simply.

From the sounds of it you want an Alnico 5 Warpig bridge and i'd agree with Ishan about the Cold Sweat neck. Another option for the bridge would be the nailbomb - it isn't quite as "shred your face off" and cleans up nicely.

Of course, if you want to go the whole 9 yards I would suggest the Ceramic Warpig; while it may lack some of the "warmth" you want, it has massive, tight low end, defined mids and cutting highs without ever sounding too broadly balanced.

In all seriousness, I would suggest emailing or calling Tim at Bareknuckle - the guy is ridiculously nice and never fails to help. I cannot suggest him enough!

They aren't completely about Djent. Those pickups can get any sound. I mostly play brutal death metal, and it covers EXACTLY what I want it to do.

However, they are pricey. I'm actually considering putting a BN in one of my guitars as well.

kanamvar32 has a spectacular aura about
alcino warpig- lots of bottom end, ridiculous output for a passive,
ceramic warpig- tighter bottom end, ridiculous output for passive pup,
nailbomb- very versatile, more mid mid-highs
miracle man- think emg 81 but more versatile, not sterile, and in 7 string format

tim is the man you should email. he can tell you about all his pickups in detail.

Thanks for the input guys, it's really appreciated...

Now I believe BK pups are hand wound, does this mean I can specify what type of sound I'm going for?

Tim will tweak pickups to suit you. But BKP product range is pretty extensive and should have something that suits you.
