Alternate Trems for the S7420?

I was wondering what, if any, trem systems can replace the TRS trem on the S7420? I haven't tried it out (just bought one, but it won't be here until after I move next week) so I don't know what the quality is like personally but just out of pure curiousity I wasn't sure if it could be upgraded to another tremolo directly without modifications? Thanks!

P.S. MAN I can't wait for this guitar.... woo hoo!

That looks clean. Nice buy.

The TRS 7 isn't actually as bad as the TRS 6, it's a fairly decent trem. Give it a try first and see how it feels to you. Real Floyds are supposed to be a drop in swap, or you can fit a Lo-Pro Edge with a bit of routing.

hey there, i just receieved my s7420bp last week and i'v heard lots of negative things about the lo trs system, i was asking this same question last week and everyone said an ofr should be a straight swap, but honostly i havent had a single problem with my, i'm commin off of using my 7320's zr trem too, i figured it would ruin the trs for me to be use to the zr, but to my suprize, its actually working out fine, and i do use the wammy bar pretty often, i dont crank on it much, just suppliment my bends with it mostly or a divebomb harmonic here and there, but i think you might like it

I've looked at a couple, and I think the OFR7 might fit. But if you like the current trem, there's no reason to change...

That works for me. I haven't checked it out in person so I can't say for sure what the trem feels like. I'll know better by next week!

I think the combination of this guitar with the ZR7 trem would be the ultimate but I would never mod such a pretty piece THAT drastically personally!

Hehe I wish I could, but next on my list is either a JP6 or JP7 with piezo... I've wanted one for a LONG time now and I think I might be able to swing it financially soon so it's looking good!
