![]() I did some quick sketches yesterday and it looks feasable. I just need to measure the size & location of the screw hole in an EMG to be certain. |

Cool... Falbo was actually the reason I started coming here, as his name came up when I googling information about 7 string active pickups. What a strange trip its been since then. Quote:
Hahahhah, that's awesome, I remember someone thinking about pitching that to the Lawrences (remember that??? they had like, the reverse problem), that's cool that you followed through on that. You should patent that and make them buy it. ![]() Last edited by Cancer; 04-16-2007 at 01:02 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Man I so hope they make a 7-string version of the Blackout in a STANDARD sizing, not in an EMG sizing. It sounds like the same tonality/circuitry/features of an EMG, but due to the balanced differential inputs it has more output, wider frequency response, even LESS noise, and much more dynamic/less compressed. I want a set of em for all my guitars!
![]() I'm just afraid they're going to stick with the oversized EMG soapbar styling...cause if you look at the new active Duncan Design pickups in the new Schecter C-7's, they're exact drop in replacements for 707's. ![]() Last edited by Drache713; 04-18-2007 at 06:11 PM. |
