Dimarzio Evolution 7 vs the Dimarzio Blaze 7 Custom?

I recently picked up a Ibanez RG 7421 guitar, and I really like it so far. The stock pickups are fine, but I know I can do better. I dont want emgs in this one, so I have been looking at the dimarzios, since they kinda go hand-in-hand with ibanez it seems. Can anyone compare the tonal characteristics of the evo and the blaze custom? I am looking for tight, crisp, and really defined. I could always go get a Seymour duncan distortion 7 string pickup, but I am making myself try something new. Any help would be MUCH appreciated!
