An Idea...

Soo I read that 250K pots are warmer and 500K pots are brighter, and 250K for singlecoils 500K for HBs...

But If I put a 250K to a humbucker? It would sound bad?

And what about putting a 250K pot and a 500K pot to one PU and add a two way switch to it, so you can change the tone you your guitar...

Good idea?

A 250K pot on a humbucker wouldn't sound bad per se. It would sound a bit darker than usual. Seymour Duncan actually likes humbuckers with 250K pots. Some people insist the JB sounds better with 250K pots than it does with 500K pots. Torres Engineering even suggets 1 Meg and 2 Meg pots for hotter humbuckers. It's all just a matter of taste. Pots are fairly cheap so it shouldn't break the bank if you want to experiment and have access to soldering iron.

As far as your idea Tom Anderson has a "Vintage Voicing" option for their guitars that uses capacitors to get the same effect. Also I think there are 250K/500K push pots that George Lynch used to use, maybe he still does.I'll look around for some links for you.
