Hmm... Bare Knuckles for my K-7, should I?
I've been considering getting a different bridge pickup for the trusty K-7 for a while now, because as it seems, the Fireball doesn't get on well with it.
I was thinking of getting another Evo7 and popping in there, because that's pretty much tried and tested brilliant in my Stealth. But then I thought, why not try a set of Bare Knuckle Pickups? Again, like with the Lundgren, it'll be considerably more expensive than the DiMarzios, but then again, pretty much all my guitars are DiMarzio equipped. Hmm... |

Do you still have the gray PAFs? If you want to sell them, let me know.

Yup.
But i was always going to say that. ![]() Seriously dude, hit it. These things rule. The price, (while heartstopping for americans) is well worth it for what is essentially a custom wound pickup to your specs. Scatterwoound rather than machine wound like the Lundgren, and the customer service Tim offers is just obscene - the guy is so helpful, you feel like he takes it as personal pride to respond to everyones emails, no-matter how trivial. Shoot him an email saying what you want it to do and i'm sure he could wind it for you. I cannot recommend this guy enough. His work RULES (I've had the pleasure of installing several of his pickups, and they made every guitar sound MILES better! The only reason I haven't fitted all my guitars with Warpigs is because im saving for Ryans S7420FMTW (one day, he'll need to sell it! Mwahaha!) and my 8 string. |

E-mail Tim and he'll hook you up. Or you could join the forum on the Bare Knuckle website and ask there. They give a lot of good advice.

For a bridge I would go for a miracle man. Listen to the clip on their forum.

Go with Ceramic Warpig bridge and a Cold Sweat neck.
It is what I went with, and I cannot complain about anything. |

For that many bones, I'd be afraid to buy it without trying it. It might not take to the particulars of your playing style.. Probably the only reason why i haven't forked out the crowns for a M7 yet..
