Resistor question

i am modding my gcb-95 wah-wah pedal,
for one of the mods it calls for a 68K resistor, but at my local radioshack all i can find is 68 ohm, it there a difference between K and ohm?

A "k" is most likely a "kiloOhm" or 1000 ohms. So a 68k resistor is 1000x different than a 68 Ohm resistor.

im doing the vocal mod, you replace the 33k resistor with a 56k or 68k.

look at this website, under modding the wah circuit itself, it has a pic and info on the vocal mod.

i did that mod, it's pretty cool. i also did the "Hendrix" mod, with the swapping of a single capacitor.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.

ok, well the vocal mod makes the wah sounds less like "wah" and more like "woh".
the mid-boost kind of evens out the sound making the wah sound more clear.
