Well, I guess I look foolish for not checking the log, huh?

I do not understand these strange powers I've been granted...

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.

Wow... way to derail a thread.

So anyways, I need the actual male end connectors however. Not like what's posted in the picture, but if you've seen EMG pickups, I need something like the pins that you find directly on the pickups.

Sorry dude, I'd have actually tried to answer your question, but I couldn't think of a single way to do so in just three letters.

It's easier to just install the pickups normally then it is to put a connector on the end of all the pickups you want to try. On a floyd type guitar it takes all of 10 minutes to solder in a pickup. I don't know what the big deal is.

don't forget that you'd have to change out the pots to have passive pickups work well....

He currently has EMG-HZ pickups in there. They ARE passive.

And I'm looking Mike, but I can't find them. I'll keep looking.

Try Mouser.com as well. Go to the online PDF catalog.

The thing with these connectors is you generally need special crimping/assembly tools to connect the wires and assemble them correctly. No problem for mass production, but for the occasional pickup swap not worth the effort.

Evans had them on their single coil pickups. Very cool idea.

+1 to both. I happen to own the crimper, but even then, the labor is equal to just soldering the freakin' thing.
