Sixxer pickups closest to blazes

I Blazes, and need new pickups for my RG550.

What's my best bet?

Steve's Special for the bridge. As for neck, I have no clue.

Weren't the Breeds supposed to be based off of the Blazes? I may be wrong, but I think I remember hearing that somewhere...

I am the mask you wear.

I know that the Steve's Special is supposedly based off of the Blaze Bridge. I think the Breeds were made for Vai for when he wanted that smoother Les Paul-esque tone rather than the high output "Burn-your-fucking-face-off" Evos.

I really like the single coil neck tone, actually. If I could stuff a single in there without it looking lame, I'd be all about it.

I'm pretty sure a Bluesbucker is a single coil with an inactive 2nd coil to cancel hum. So, pretty much, it's a humbucker sized single coil.

The pickups are the Blaze models that Ibanez installs as standard on the RG 7-strings. The bridge pickup is pretty similar in performance and specs to a Super Distortion (DP100), and the neck pickup is similar to a Super 2 (DP104).

I HAVE AN IBANEZ RG7620 7 STRING GUITAR & AM CURIOUS IF THESE ARE DIMARZIO CONTRACTED PICKUPS.

IF SO, CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT PRODUCTION PICKUPS ARE THE CLOSEST MATCH TO THEM?

THANK YOU.

I'm pretty sure 7620's came with New 7's, whereas only the UV's actually came with Blazes.

I think Tony misunderstood the Blaze/ New 7 thing.

You are talking about the UV right? If so, those are Blazes. On a 7620, they are New 7s.

Yeah, I am talking about the UV, and I know it has blazes.

I want that tone (well, as close as I can get) for my 550 as well.
