![]() | X2N7 vs. D sonic I am debating between these two pickups for my H-207. Some one set me straight. I am looking for a really bright, focused tone. Kind of Meshuggah-ish with a hint of Fear Factory. what do you guys think? |

If I had to choose, I'd definitely go with the DS7...that part is easy. I think in basswood though, the Evolution 7 would be more to your liking. Or the D-Activator. |

![]() ![]() | The DS7 is definatly bright focused and clean, however, it's also a bit noisy. I don't recommend it if you're recording (great live though, I have one in my carvin). Either way though, sounds like you want emgs but you want tone too. -W |

Once again I think the Evolution is the way to go. That thing is brutal sounding in basswood and its very tight and clear. |
