Pushbutton Killswitch info
Alright since it seems I'm the only guy on here that knows where to get pushbutton killswitches I'm going to give you guys the part numbers and prices so you can order it. These pushbuttons are available on www.mouser.com (thanks DPM). Here are the part numbers, colors and prices.
part # Color Price 10PA322 Red Button 2.91 10PA323 Black Button 2.91 107-3029-EVX Silver Button 3.51 When I installed it I removed the tone knob (does not augment tone at all if you keep your tone at 10 normally) then I used a pen or pencil and wrapped sandpaper around it and enlarge it a bit. It's a very simple mod to do and my first time doing it had no problems. I hope you guys find this very useful and if possible can a mod make this a sticky? Feel Free to ask any questions, I'll answer them to the best of my ability. For Europe folks go to http://www.elfa.com/ (Thanks Wiggleywiggler) Last edited by JPMDan; 02-10-2007 at 07:18 PM. |

push to break? this is a momentary push button. This is a very nice looking switch and very good quality as well.
Here's a pic I took when I first got it. (I'll try to replace it with a better one later) ![]() |

You're a legend, I put a killswitch in my old strat (my first guitar that I ended up heavily customizing) and the switches I got were kind of shoddy and well, crap.
This switch looks much more sturdy ![]()

Edit: just checked for sweden it's 37 dollars for 1-4 pounds... YIKES!!! |
