Best way to remove frets?
so i am starting a project for a fretless rg7621, and would like some advice
on removing the frets without damiging the neck, any advice is welcome thank you. |

I de-fretted my bass and from what I hear others say is that all you do is
1. tape off the fretboard leaving only the frets themselves exposed 2. use a soldering gun to heat the frets 3. take nippers and grap the fret 4. slowly remove frets. After that filling in the wholes is up to you to decide how you want to fill them. Also you could check sites from google on "defretting" |
