Simple question about wiring directly to the output jack
So I'm trying out a BUNCH of different bridge pickups to see what I like, but just want to hear the direct tone (my normal setup is just a 5 way switch with a vol knob anyways) for ease of soldering between them.
So I know its the hot to the output jack hot, 2 wires connected/soldered to make it in series and then the ground to the ground of the output jack, but my question is about the central ground wire coming from the mechanical bridge (with the saddles). Do I then ALSO solder the central ground from the mechanical bridge (with the saddles) to the ground of the output jack? |
