EMG H/S

I just bought a basswood JS2400 blank. Will have a Ebonyfret/maple neck with an floating edge trem. I know nadda about EMG. What is a good Hum/single config for a mix of satch type leads and a bit of justice 4 all metallica type heavyness. Cheers for any replies.

Emg 85 in the bridge, and an SA in the neck. The 85 is smooth yet aggressive at the same time, so it'll handle heavy riffing and leads no problem. I used to play AFJA-Era Metallica no problem.

The SA will sound awesome for cleans and smooth lead tones.
